BASIC FEATURES

Control Panel

The standard 7 inch touchscreen TFT LCD color screen provides ease of use and observation. Ergonomic screen design helps fast and effective use of the incubator with explanations and animations.

  • Temperature Control

    Clinicians can easily set the desired temperature values using the air or skin mode options on the Tende VAV's touch screens. The baby skin temperature probe (Volume 1 and Volume 2) can be disposable or reusable. In case of exceeding the specified set values, the system makes visual and audible warnings. In case of excessive air temperature, the system automatically turns off the heater and alerts clinicians with visual and audible alarms.

  • Servo Humidification System

    Thanks to Tende VAV's patented humidification system, moisture requirement, which is vital for newborns, is met quickly, effectively and safely with minimal condensation. The use of hot steam technology and the fact that the humidification system can be completely removed without using any tools and sterilized by autoclaving, prevents bacteria and mold in the incubator, making hygiene safety unique. Tende VAV, which has one of the fastest humidification systems among neonatal intensive care incubators, can maintain homogeneous humidification for 24 hours at 95% humidity with a 2000 ml water reservoir.

  • Bed and Bed Angle (Trendelenburg)

    The biocompatible, waterproof, washable and fire-resistant soft mattress is positioned on the mattress tray with an X-Ray cassette tray underneath. The bed can be easily pulled out when the baby needs intervention. There is a safety mechanism to prevent the baby from falling when the bed is pulled. Bed angling can be done electronically from the control screen, without any effort, easily, without jolting and in a very safe way. When the baby needs urgent intervention, using the "Emergency Landing" button on the Tende VAV control screen, the baby bed is automatically brought to a flat position. During automatic landing, the user can open the lids of the canopy, and even pull out the descending bed, instead of trying to straighten the bed, and start the necessary interventions without wasting time. This is one of Tende VAV's unique applications.

  • Trend Monitoring

    Clinicians can monitor all air and skin temperatures, humidity, oxygen, baby's weight, incubator heater power, NIBP values graphically and numerically in 2-hour, 8-hour, 1-day and 7-day time frames.

  • Bouncer Mode (Air Curtain)

    In cases where the baby needs to be taken out, such as breastfeeding, the skin temperature measurement can be continued by selecting the "Baby Lug" mode on the control panel. When the canopy cover and / or lids are opened, the "Air Curtain" automatically activates and minimizes the heat loss in the incubator. In case the doors are left open, the system warns the users with an audible and light alarm.

  • Baby-Specific Temperature and Humidity Algorithm

    With the algorithm, the device proposes the ambient temperature and humidity percentage to be found according to the gestational age (how many days it is) and weight of the baby, if approved, the temperature and humidity values are automatically set according to these parameters.

  • 360 Degree Rotating Drawers

    Tende VAV's drawers, one large and two small, can be used by rotating 360 ° to the right or left. The most important feature of this design is that the drawers open and close silently and therefore do not disturb the baby. In addition, the user has easy access to the drawers from all sides of the incubator, even if the front or back cover of the incubator is open.

  • OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT OPTIONS

    SERVO OXYGEN

    In Tende VAV servo oxygen system, safety and precision are at the forefront. One of the most important features of the system is that it works very quietly, increasing the sound level by only a few dB.

    SCALES

    Tende VAV; It has a microprocessor controlled, automatic self-test feature, a sensitive digital scale system designed with the safety and comfort of the baby in mind. The baby is lifted for just a few seconds without taking it out, automatic taring is done, and when the baby is released, the system performs the weighing process. Before weighing, if the bed is inclined, the system will automatically bring the bed to its flat position before weighing and then to its previous inclination for more accurate results. How to perform the weighing process can be seen in the animation on the Tende VAV control screen, and its stages are guided by visual and audible warnings on this control screen.

    TOUCH TFT LCD COLOR SIDE SCREEN

    Tende VAV can also be controlled and monitored on the 10.1 inch touch TFT LCD color side screen. The side screen provides great convenience for easy viewing of particularly intense data. Therefore, Tende VAV primarily displays Masimo Rainbow SET pulse oximeter and noninvasive blood pressure (NIBP) data on a 10.1 inch screen. With the "Easy Silence" feature of the side screen, the clinician can turn off the alarm sound by showing his hand on the screen.

    QUARTZ HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

    In order to work comfortably, clinicians can electronically adjust the incubator height by using the lift and lower pedals located at the front and back of the incubator. With the help of the motor specially produced for Tende VAV, the raising and lowering process is performed quietly and without jolting, without disturbing the baby.

    PULSE OXIMETER (MASIMO RAINBOW SET)

    Pulse rate and oxygen saturation are measured with the pulse oximeter integrated into the Tende VAV intensive care incubator, without taking blood from the baby (noninvasive). With Masimo Rainbow SET technology used in the incubator, it is also possible to measure perfusion (PI) and pleth variability index (PVI), hemoglobin (SpHb), methemoglobin (SpMet), carboxyhemoglobin (SpCO) values. For the first time in the world, Tende has integrated Masimo Rainbow SET technology into intensive care neonatal incubators.

    NONINVASIVE BLOOD PRESSURE (NIBP)

    With the integrated NIBP feature on the side screen, the blood pressure values of the baby can be measured noninvasively according to the specified time intervals. Clinicians can set set values and activate audible and visual alarms. The data obtained can be viewed on the trend screen.
