Prevention of VAP and removal of tracheal secretions without the need for aspiration
1 Device - 2 Features
Headline Control
TrachFlush continuously maintains user-set cuff pressure and protects your patients from VAP and tracheal injuries
Wash Control
TrachFlush removes secretions from above and below the cuff of mechanically ventilated patients with the push of a button
Protect your patients from VAP
TrachFlush continuously maintains user-set cuff pressure, potentially reducing micro-aspirations and VA P
Easy secretion removal
TrachFlush removes secretions from above and below the cuff (subglottic) without the need for aspiration
Reduce workload and cost
1) No need to manually control and maintain cuff pressure
2) Potentially reduces microaspirations and VAP
3) Remove secretion with the push of a button
Improve patient comfort
1) There is no "vacuum cleaner" in the airlines
2) No negative air pressure such as cough assist devices
3) No post-absorption instability
TrachFlush can be used with any endotracheal tube or tracheostomy tube
Headline Control feature
TrachFlush maintains and adjusts actual cuff pressure on a breath-by-breath basis, providing consistently optimized and controlled cuff pressure that supports ventilation therapy and protects your patients from VAP and tracheal injuries, and includes features for:
Rapid cuff deflation for safe extubation.
Increased cuff pressure for a user-defined period of time to secure the airway and prevent aspirations, e.g. when repositioning the tube, changing patient position, etc.
Flush Control feature
Easy and intuitive feature for tracheal secretion removal above and below the cuff.
TrachFlush deflates the cuff with the push of a button and uses the ventilator's air pressure to "flush" air from above and below the cuff into the oral cavity during an inspiratory cycle. There is no need to manually perform tracheal suctioning.
